Short Story

Mishka Chromanoff was given away at birth, seen as a demonic curse for the illegal pairing of a Kalur Elf male and Human female. She was born with two separate skin colors, red of the Kalur on the left and pale peach of Humans on the right. She was normally painted at the orphanage in order to hide one side or the other, and unfortunately was never adopted, but she did have one friend. His name was Demetri, and the day he was adopted tore her apart. Demetri never judged her for what she was, just as she never judged him for being half-elf either. Yes, Demetri is half-elf, and it is very unnoticeable.

Needless to say, those years alone were the hardest, and when she was 14 years old, she escaped from the orphanage. She was raped, beaten and brutalized for years until someone gave her a helping hand. Someone who saw something in her, a fighter. A strong spirit, despite being broken and chipped away at.

She was trained in fighting and made into a very mean person, becoming an internationally known assassin at age 17, and continued to be one until present day. She was such a good spy that she was able to see Demetri and his...new family. His...new sister. And what the two of them were up to. She knows about Amanda and Demetri, she knows everything. She works for Camira DuSaxas, after all.
