Tiden worked with Professors Sinn and Tremigent in the labs when Sadira was first brought to the labs...and he witnessed the vicious awakening of the mutant goddess himself...he watched her destruction, knowing all too well that she'd be after him if she wanted to be. But she never did. Not then. Before she could slice at him as she'd done Tremigent (for details, ask Sadira...he doesn't wish to ever have to tell that again.), she'd disappeared, her very first escape attempt.
He'd dismissed himself from the Professor's labs, immediately working for a hospital trying to find a cure for what he himself had been responsible for...unfortunately Sadira's specific condition could never be reversed.
After a few attempts on his own life, and failing due to genetic enhancements, he'd spent the rest of his days looking for Sadira...until the day he found her.
She was unconscious at the time, passed out from heaven knows what in an alley not far from the town he lived in. He'd recognized her immediately, and in knowing her, who wouldn't? Out of the kindness left in his heart, and in need of making it up to her, he brought Sadira to his home. When she woke up, she wasn't taking kindly to him, not one bit. She nearly killed him there, but something in her own mind had stopped her. Had she forgiven him? She couldn't have, not after what he'd put her through. He didn't get the opportunity to apologize either, she'd run from him once more.
Three centuries of time passed, and he gave up his search, taking on his punishment for eternity, to be a miserable person as long as he shall live.
It wasn't until Sinn found Tiden again and enslaved him in the labs that he realized just how sorry he really was for what had happened to Sadira. He couldn't even bring himself to talk to her...to calm her...to even face her in her pod. That is...until she attempted to escape again.
He helped her that time...and she took him with her. Sadira had heard every thought of his, everything, and not on her own accord either, it was like he wanted her to hear his thoughts while she slumbered.
So she gave him the chance of a lifetime...although it just happened to put him elsewhere. She teleported out of the labs, but she pushed him forward in time about 1000 years in the process, putting him on the desolate planet of Di in the Realm of Kesht. She just wanted him to have a good life...the same thing he wanted for her.
